Every Season - Pumpkin Eclipse

Sometimes the technique shouldn’t be the first thing you notice. That was exactly what I wanted with this card. I loved this fall paper so much that covering it with a big die cut almost seemed criminal! Instead, I used the pumpkin die to create an Eclipse right within the artwork. The pumpkin is there. It has dimension. But the original scene continues right through it, so your eye has to find it. I think that little surprise is what makes this card. One thing I really want to do more of at Creative Pals is show you what you can actually DO with the products you already own—or give you a good reason to add a new one. A die doesn’t have to be used the way it looks on the package. Sometimes changing the technique completely changes the product.
