I always talk about taking that “one-of-a-kind” card and turning it into a piece of framed art - something you can bring out year after year. And this one is definitely going in a frame! I’m not going to lie, this one took me a while. Of course, I had to “Lisafy it” and add lots of thin foam tape because one layer of dimension is never enough for me. This gorgeous Divinity Designs set is HUGE and actually includes six dies that you can mix and match depending on how much detail and depth you want. Believe it or not, I only used four of the six on this one. I kept the snowflake monochromatic and went with that soft pink background, which I absolutely love with all the white. Then came the diamond and pearl bling - and that was exactly what it needed. Just enough sparkle to give it that WOW factor without taking away from the beautiful die work. Now I’m just waiting for my white 6" shadow box frame. Once it arrives, this one is getting framed and taking its place in the store. I hope it inspires you to look at some of your larger dies and projects a little differently. A handmade card doesn’t always have to end up in an envelope.
