I recently had the immense pleasure of visiting AALL & Create’s HQ in London, and I am so grateful to the team for the unforgettable experience!! 😍 While I was there, I stumbled on such a cute product… This little fox has a map, and I have a new crafty crush. 🦊 The fox and “lead the way” sentiment are from the Not Lost rub-ons in the Creative Ember Designs line at AALL & Create, and I’m so impressed with how opaque they are! Look how clearly that little adventurer stands out over all that color. And speaking of that color, that glorious rainbow background is courtesy of the new Homespun Christmas Trees stencil from A Colorful Life Designs! I know the stencil says Christmas, but what can I say--I was feeling a rainbow forest! This is a one-layer card—no fussy cutting, no stacked pieces, just a stencil and some rub-on goodness. I really appreciate being able to add such a detailed character without adding bulk. 😍😍 Have you tried rub-ons over a colorful background? So worth it!! Card Recipe: Step 1 - Secure Homespun Christmas Trees stencil to white cardstock (A2). Step 2 - Inkblend diagonally through the stencil: yellow in the center, red on the right, blue on the left. Allow ink to partly overlap previous colors at the line where they meet to blend new colors--green (blue/yellow blend) and orange (red/yellow blend). Go back over with original colors to smooth the blend. Step 3 - Cut out desired rub-on from transfer sheet. Lay on ink blended background and rub firmly with bone folder, popsicle stick, or other sturdy item with rounded tip (nothing sharp so it doesn't poke the rub-on). Step 4 - As rub-on adheres, slowly remove transfer sheet. Step 5 - Repeat with sentiment.
