Have you ever heard of Craft Roulette? Well, if you're a cardmaker, you have GOT to join in the FUNN--and yes, that's FUNN with 2 N's! ;) https://craftroulette.live/spin-it-forward?c=wb1 For this FUNN project, I used my Catherine Pooler Designs kit from this past weekend’s Scrapbook & Cards Today Crop & Create Fall to whip up a cute little 4-bar card for this week’s parameters! I drew inspiration for the kid’s book element from one of my fav books as a kid, "Sideways Stories from Wayside School" by Louis Sachar. https://link.amazon/B058Utpey Anyone else remember that wacky book? It's about the students and staff at Wayside School that was supposed to be a 1-story school with 30 classrooms, but due to a mix-up was built as a 30-story building with 1 classroom per floor! So silly... LOL The school-themed supplies in the Catherine Pooler kit were absolutely perfect to channel that book, plus the set even covered Craft Roulette's random 4th parameter of paper clip! I used the stencil in the kit and the paper clip stamp to make my own background, then finished it off with some die cutting and a stamped sentiment. I even stamped the "embellishments" with some little dots from the set. The notecard die from Sunny Studios really helped sell the school theme, too, and the fairy tale colors were courtesy of my Concord & 9th ink collection. The last little detail that I thought was too good not to include was layering the focal points at a bit of a wonky side placement to mirror the wonky construction of Wayside School! One more time for the kids in the back--this one was FUNN!!! 😉
