Father's Day Red Cap

You know - my dad really has been my hero - all my life. And he always wears a red cap when he goes outside. He designs and makes race cars, so the black & white background just seemed to fit too. 1. Ink blend the Argyle Stencil on white cardstock. Only use the first two stencils. Don't use the third one unless you want a more argyle look. 2. Cut the Reflections label from vellum. Adhere to stenciled background using glue in the corners where the brads will go. When the glue is dry, attache the screw-like brads with glue (I cut off the brad prongs) 3. Cut out, ink blend (darker on the sides) the cap and assemble. My cardstock was just a little bit lighter than my ink. If I were to do it over again, I would use a lighter cardstock. 4.Stamp and cut sentiments. Adhere the Hero sentiment to the cap. Then position the cap and sentiment where you want them and glue down. 5. Mount on the Watermelon cardstock and attach to a card base.
