Trick or Treat?!?
About this Project
I started with an A2 panel and blended various shades of green Distress Oxide inks to create the background, finishing it with a light black splatter for a little extra texture. Next, I used the Trick or Treat and S’Prize dies from the newest Riley and Company release. I die cut each several times and stacked the layers together to give the words some extra dimension. The zombie was stamped, die cut, and colored with alcohol markers. For the gatefold card base, I scored each side at 2⅛" so the two panels would meet in the center when closed. I cut my finished green panel in half and attached one piece to each side of the gatefold. I added the Trick or Treat die cuts across the front, making sure each word was attached to only one side of the card so the doors could still open freely. Then for the S’Prize! inside, I kept things simple and let the zombie be the focal point. I adhered him to the center along with the layered sentiment for a fun little surprise when the card is opened!
