July 8 MFT Sketch Challenge

About this Project

For this card, I took this week's My Favorite Things Sketch Challenge and gave it a fun Christmas twist! I loved how the sketch gave me the perfect opportunity to feature the Christmas Lights die. I die cut the bulbs from white cardstock, blended them with soft pink inks, and arranged them around the card to draw your eye toward the sentiment. To make it stand out even more, I heat embossed the greetings from the Itty Bitty Holidays stamp set in white on black cardstock. I love how the bold sentiments pop against the soft pink background and tie the whole card together.
