Welcome to MustStash! We're dedicated to transforming the art of cardmaking by simplifying how you organize, find, and share your crafting supplies and creations. This Privacy Policy ("Policy") is issued by MustStash, LLC ("we," "us," or "MustStash") and explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information through the MustStash mobile and web applications, our website at muststash.io, publicly accessible recipe pages, creator portfolio pages, and other services we operate (collectively, the "Services").
At MustStash, we understand that your creative journey is more than just a hobby—it is a passion that connects you with a community of fellow crafters. Safeguarding your personal information is a priority, and we work to handle it responsibly and in accordance with applicable privacy and data protection laws.
By accessing or using the Services, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you have questions or concerns about how we handle your personal information, please contact us at support@muststash.io.
This Policy applies to personal information collected through or in connection with the Services, including information collected from MustStash account holders, visitors to our website and public pages, and individuals who otherwise communicate or interact with MustStash.
The Services are not directed to children under 13. You must be at least 13 years old to create a MustStash account or use the interactive features of the Services. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you may use the Services only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, as described in our Terms of Service. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If we learn that a child under 13 has created an account or provided personal information through the Services, we will take reasonable steps to close the account and delete the child's personal information, except where retention is required by law.
Parents or guardians who believe that a child under 13 has provided personal information to MustStash may contact us at support@muststash.io.
We collect personal information that you provide directly to MustStash or make available through third-party services you choose to use with MustStash, such as a sign-in or payment provider. Depending on how you use the Services, this may include:
Please do not include sensitive personal information, private contact information, or another person's personal information in content that you intend to publish publicly.
When you use the Services or visit our public pages, we may collect certain information about your use of the Services and the device or browser you use to access them. This may include:
We may collect this information directly or through service providers that help us operate, analyze, secure, and improve the Services. Additional information about analytics technologies and your choices is provided in Section 10.
Third-Party Content: Some parts of the Services may display or link to content provided by third parties, such as YouTube videos or social media pages. When you view or interact with third-party content, the third-party provider may collect information in accordance with its own privacy policy. MustStash does not control the privacy practices of those third parties.
We use your information to provide and operate the Services. This includes creating and maintaining your account, authenticating your access, maintaining your profile, managing your stash and wishlist, storing your projects, maintaining and improving the shared MustStash catalog, administering subscriptions and transactions, providing search and organization features, and responding to requests for support.
Your stash and wishlist are associated with your account and are not displayed on public recipe pages or creator portfolio pages. Projects and creator-profile information may be made available to other users or the public only as described in this Policy and according to the visibility settings and sharing controls available through the Services.
We use the information you choose to share to provide community projects, publicly accessible recipe pages, and creator portfolio pages. Depending on the sharing settings you select, this information may be available to other MustStash members or to anyone on the internet, including people who do not have a MustStash account.
Information displayed publicly may include project photographs, titles, descriptions, instructions, techniques, occasions, products and companies used, and creator-profile information you have chosen to make public, such as your MustStash Name, display name, profile picture, biography, or social media links.
We may also feature projects that you share with the MustStash community or make public, together with creator-profile information you have chosen to make available, in materials that explain, demonstrate, publicize, or promote MustStash. These materials may include MustStash websites and social media accounts, emails, newsletters, help documentation, tutorials, demonstration videos, presentations, and app marketplace listings. We do not use projects that you keep private for these purposes.
You may change a project's visibility using the sharing controls available through the Services. Changing a project from public or community-shared to private will end new promotional uses by MustStash. However, materials created or published while the project was public or shared with the MustStash community may remain available as described in our Terms of Service.
When you remove public access, MustStash will stop displaying the publicly accessible recipe page. However, search engines and other third parties may retain cached, archived, copied, or previously shared versions that are outside MustStash's control.
We may use your contact information to send service-related communications, such as account notices, security messages, support responses, important changes to the Services, and updates about features that affect your account.
We may also send non-essential communications, such as product updates, company news, or crafting-related information, where permitted by applicable law. Where required, we will obtain your consent before sending these communications. You may opt out of non-essential email communications by using the unsubscribe instructions included in those messages. You cannot opt out of communications that are necessary to operate your account or provide the Services.
We may use usage, technical, and diagnostic information to understand how the Services are used, evaluate and improve features, identify and correct errors, maintain performance, prevent fraud or misuse, and protect the security and integrity of MustStash and its users.
We may also use optional location and address information to evaluate interest in and the feasibility of potential location-based features, such as nearby craft stores, retreats, events, and proximity-based connections with other crafters.
We do not sell your personal information or use it to serve behavioral or interest-based advertisements. We may use your contact information to send general MustStash updates and crafting-related news, subject to the communication choices described above.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, loss, or destruction. These safeguards may include:
No method of transmitting or storing information is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information.
Information that you choose to publish through public recipe pages, creator portfolios, or other public features is available to others and should not be considered private or confidential.
We maintain procedures designed to investigate, contain, and address suspected security incidents. If a security incident affects your personal information, we will notify affected individuals and relevant authorities when and as required by applicable law.
We build MustStash with privacy in mind. This includes seeking to limit the personal information we collect, considering privacy throughout the development of new features, and providing controls that allow you to manage how certain information is shared.
MustStash allows you to choose how certain project and creator-profile information is shared. Depending on the visibility settings you select, project information may be available to other MustStash members or published through a publicly accessible recipe page or creator portfolio.
Information you choose to make public may be viewed by anyone, including people who do not have a MustStash account. Public information may also be accessed, indexed, cached, copied, or redistributed by search engines, social media services, and other third parties.
MustStash does not publicly display your email address, street address, private stash, private wishlist, or private projects through these public features unless you independently include that information in content you choose to publish.
We use third-party service providers to help us operate, maintain, secure, analyze, and improve the Services. These providers may support functions such as hosting, data storage, authentication, payment processing, communications, analytics, security, and other technical infrastructure.
These service providers may receive or process personal information as reasonably necessary to perform services for MustStash. They are not authorized by MustStash to use your personal information for their own unrelated advertising purposes.
We do not sell your personal information. We also do not share your personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising or use your personal information to display targeted third-party advertisements.
We may disclose personal information when we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to comply with applicable law, legal process, or a valid governmental request; enforce our agreements and policies; investigate fraud, misuse, or security concerns; protect the rights, property, or safety of MustStash, our users, or others; or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
If MustStash is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or similar business transaction, personal information may be disclosed or transferred as part of that transaction. Any recipient of personal information will be subject to applicable law and the commitments described in this Privacy Policy.
We may create, use, and disclose aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you. We may use this information for purposes such as understanding crafting trends, evaluating the Services, improving features, and developing insights about the MustStash community.
We may also provide companies with aggregated information about engagement with their products, such as the number of times products have been added to MustStash users' stashes or wishlists. We do not provide companies with information identifying the individual users represented in those totals.
MustStash and the service providers that support the Services may store and process personal information in the United States and in other countries where they operate. The privacy and data protection laws in those locations may differ from the laws where you live.
When required by applicable law, we take appropriate steps designed to protect personal information transferred across national borders.
Certain features may involve third-party platforms or content, such as payment services, authentication providers, embedded videos, or links to social media pages. When you access, view, or interact with third-party content or services, the applicable provider may collect and use information under its own terms and privacy policy. MustStash does not control the independent privacy practices of those third parties.
You are responsible for taking reasonable steps to protect your account, including safeguarding your login credentials and limiting access to devices on which you are signed in. If you believe your account has been accessed without authorization, please contact us promptly at support@muststash.io.
You may use the controls available through the Services to update your profile information, choose which profile information is displayed publicly, and manage how your projects are shared. Depending on the available settings, you may make a project private, share it with the MustStash community, or publish it as a publicly accessible recipe page.
When you remove public visibility from a project, MustStash will stop displaying the corresponding public recipe page. Changes you make to profile information selected for public display will be reflected on your creator portfolio and public recipe pages. However, search engines and other third parties may retain cached, archived, copied, or previously shared versions that are outside MustStash's control.
You may permanently delete your account through the account settings available within the Services. You may also contact us at support@muststash.io for assistance. We may take reasonable steps to verify your identity before completing a deletion request.
When you request permanent account deletion, MustStash will make your account and content unavailable through the Services and begin the process of permanently deleting your account, profile, stash, wishlist, projects, project images, comments, public recipe pages, creator portfolio, and other personal information and User Content from our active systems. This includes projects shared with the MustStash community.
We may retain limited information where reasonably necessary for legal compliance, financial recordkeeping, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, enforcement of our agreements, or temporary backup retention. Residual copies may remain temporarily in secured backups until those backups are overwritten or expire through our ordinary processes.
Catalog Contributions may remain part of the shared MustStash catalog after account deletion, but information linking those contributions to your account will be removed or de-identified. Materials created or published while your content was public or shared with the MustStash community may also remain available as described in our Terms of Service.
Permanent account deletion cannot be reversed. Deleting your account will cancel future renewal of a subscription billed directly by MustStash. It does not automatically cancel a subscription purchased through Apple or another third-party platform; you must cancel that subscription through the applicable platform to prevent future charges.
You may view and update your account information directly through the Services, including your stash, wishlist, projects, profile details, and the sharing and visibility settings for your projects and publicly displayed profile information.
You may opt out of non-essential email communications by using the unsubscribe instructions included in those messages. You may continue to receive service-related communications that are necessary to operate your account or provide the Services, such as security notices, support responses, transaction-related messages, and important changes affecting the Services.
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, comply with legal and financial obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and protect the security and integrity of the Services.
Account information and User Content are generally retained while your account exists. Project and creator-profile information may remain available to other users or the public according to the visibility settings you select until you change those settings, delete the applicable content, or permanently delete your account.
When you permanently delete your account, we handle the deletion and retention of information as described in Section 9.2. Certain limited information may be retained after deletion where reasonably necessary for legal compliance, financial or tax recordkeeping, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, enforcement of our agreements, or protection of MustStash and others.
Catalog Contributions and previously created or published promotional, educational, or informational materials may remain as described in Section 9.2 and our Terms of Service. Information maintained in secured backups may also remain temporarily until those backups are overwritten or expire through our ordinary processes.
Depending on where you live and subject to applicable law, you may have rights concerning your personal information. These may include rights to request access to personal information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion of information, a portable copy of certain information, restriction of or objection to certain processing, and information about how personal information is collected, used, or disclosed.
Not every right applies in every situation, and certain information may be exempt from a request under applicable law. We may take reasonable steps to verify your identity and authority before processing a request.
To submit a privacy request, contact us at support@muststash.io. We will consider and respond to requests in accordance with applicable law. MustStash will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right where such discrimination is prohibited by law.

We use this information to operate and improve MustStash, understand feature usage, evaluate the effect of product changes, maintain performance, diagnose problems, and protect the security and reliability of the Services. We do not use these technologies to display targeted third-party advertisements.
You may control or delete cookies and similar browser storage through your browser settings. Blocking or deleting certain technologies may affect authentication, saved preferences, security, feature availability, or other functionality and may reduce the information available to us for analytics and feature evaluation.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the Services, our information practices, or applicable legal requirements. When we update the Policy, we will revise the "Last Updated" date displayed at the top of the Policy.
If we make a material change, we will provide notice through the Services, on our website, by email, or through another appropriate method. Where required by applicable law, we will obtain consent before applying a materially different use of personal information.
We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to remain informed about how MustStash collects, uses, and discloses personal information.
If you have questions, concerns, or requests regarding this Privacy Policy, MustStash's privacy practices, or your personal information, please contact us at support@muststash.io or through the Contact Us form on our website.
