Yes. MustStash has a free plan so you can try it out before upgrading. Details are on our Pricing page.
Yes. By default, any project you create in MustStash is private and only visible to you. If you choose to share a project, it becomes visible to the wider MustStash community, where others can see it, be inspired by it, and create their own versions. You are always in control. You decide which projects stay private and which ones you share.
Yes. MustStash works on phones, tablets, and computers. We have iOS and Android apps, and everything is synced in the cloud, so what you add on one device is available on all your others.
Premium upgrades are only available on our website. Once you upgrade, your Premium account works everywhere: on the web, iOS, and Android. This keeps things simple and consistent no matter which device you use.
Most crafters don't bother keeping a database of their stash because it takes too much time. A few try low-cost apps with barcode scanners, but those give minimal data including a product name and image. You still have to create all your own tags and search for inspiration separately. Others use general note-keeping or database apps, which can cost much more, but building and maintaining a stash that way can take months of work.
MustStash is different. Creating your personal database couldn't be easier. Adding existing products is just one click. One of our early stashers added more than 3,000 products on her first day. Doing that by hand would have taken hundreds of hours. If you come across a product that isn't in the system yet, all you need to do is add the name, company, product type, and one image. MustStash takes care of everything else. That includes search tags, filters, and categorization. Once a product is added, everyone can use it, not just you. Instead of thousands of people doing the same work in separate personal silos, we do it once together and the whole community benefits.
On top of that, MustStash connects your stash to inspiration. Projects show you every product used. You'll see YouTube videos and community projects linked to products. Pinterest-style galleries are already sorted for you. No more digging through folders or saving random screenshots. Everything is organized and ready when you need it.
In short, MustStash isn't just a barcode scanner. It's a premium tool designed specifically for crafters, bringing your stash, your inspiration, and your projects together in one place. Your subscription pays for more than features. It gives you the gift of time. Less sorting, more crafting.
If you cancel MustStash Premium, your account will simply revert to the free plan with limited features. Shared projects you've already contributed will continue to inspire the community.
Free accounts include up to 100 items in your stash. When you switch from Premium to free, only your most recent 100 items will remain visible. If you decide to upgrade again later, your full stash and projects will be right where you left them.
Annual and monthly subscriptions are billed in advance and are non-refundable, but you’ll keep full access to Premium features until the end of your current billing period.
Yes. If you'd like your stash and projects permanently removed from MustStash, just contact us directly and we'll take care of it.
We're working hard to partner with as many companies as we can, and more are joining all the time. If your favorite company isn't in the app yet, please let us know. We use community feedback to help guide which partners we approach next.
We know this is an important question for creators, and it is something we have spent a lot of time thinking about.
Right now, MustStash is focused on building a strong foundation for the crafting community. Our priority is helping crafters discover products, organize their collections, and share inspiration in a way that is genuinely useful to others. At this stage, we are intentionally focusing on learning how people use the platform before introducing monetization tools or creator-specific programs.
That said, there are still real advantages for creators who start sharing their creations now. Because the community is still growing, early contributors get significantly more visibility. Your creations are more likely to be seen, featured, and remembered, which can help you establish a presence from the very beginning.
Shared inspiration in MustStash works differently than blog posts or social media posts. When you share your work, you can show exactly which products you used and include instructions, tips, or notes about how it came together. This gives other crafters a clear recipe they can follow.
When someone makes a creation inspired by yours, it links back to your original creation. Over time, this builds meaningful connections between crafters and helps your work continue to reach new people within the community.
Looking ahead, we do plan to support creators in more meaningful ways. We know that traditional affiliate programs and ad-based models often do not work well for most crafters, and we believe there is an opportunity to do better. However, we want to take the time to understand the community and get this right before committing to a specific approach.
If you have ideas or feedback about how creators should be supported in MustStash, we would genuinely love to hear from you. Many of the features in MustStash today exist because of conversations with creators and community members.
In short, we see the problem, we care deeply about it, and we are being deliberate about solving it well.
Not yet, but we'd love to support that in the future! For now, MustStash focuses on helping you organize your physical products. Digital files are absolutely on our roadmap, and we can't wait to add them when the time is right.
