Welcome to our “Fun on the Farm” hop! This week we are featuring what farm animals like to do in the winter. ❄️🐄🐃🐖🐏🐐🐓🐎🫏❄️ In winter, farm animals generally focus on staying warm and conserving energy by growing thick coats, eating more food to fuel their internal furnaces, and huddling together for warmth. They often prefer to stand in sunny, wind-protected areas or inside barns, using extra bedding like straw for insulation.
