Be Still

This week on our “Friends in Faith Hop” we are creating projects featuring the theme “Be still, and know that I am God” (Psalm 46:10) This verse reminds us we need to cease our striving, let go of anxiety, and trust in divine sovereignty. It encourages finding inner peace by resting in God’s power and presence, rather than relying on one’s own efforts. This verse serves as a reminder to surrender control and recognize God’s authority in challenging times.  Whenever I think of being still in the presence of the Lord, my mind goes to being in nature - in the midst of God’s creativity and glory. The mountain and forest scene on my card today captures that feeling for me. And guess what!!? - it’s Washi tape!!
