Embrace Adventure Chalkboard Recreation

Techniques: I laid out the stamps that I wanted to use on my black piece of cardstock. I picked them up with the door of the Misti. I inked them up with WOW Embossing Ink and heat embossed in white. I used Faber Castell's Black Edition color pencils. They are formulated to color on dark surfaces. To create the wooden frame around the chalkboard I cut a mat from Kraft color cardstock. I removed the center with my paper trimmer. I then used Gina K's technique for creating wooden frames. I used Post-It notes to mark across the inner to outer corner. I then lighly dragged three different brown ink pads the length of the frame pieces. Moved the Post-Its and repeated the inking process across the next portion of the frame. I added a little chalk tray across the bottom. I colored small pieces of white cardstock with the color pencils to imitate pieces of color chalk.
