Blessings dear friends, This week on our “Friends in Faith Hop” we are featuring projects inspired by the Annunciation of Our Lord, celebrated on March 25th, when the Angel Gabriel announced to the Virgin Mary that God had chosen her to be the mother of His only Son, Jesus Christ. Mary’s humble submission, “I am the Lord’s servant” (Luke 1:38), is viewed as a model of faith, trust, and obedience. I made this card from the @unitystampco Woodland Layers stamp & die set. First creating this pretty scene….then adding the sentiments. “BUT GOD….” is a powerful saying. It speaks to the impossibility of a situation or the hardships one may be facing….but then GOD enters in….and things change - not necessarily the circumstances, but having the Lord to trust in those circumstances changes them. The inside verse tells how the Lord makes all things beautiful in His time. To me this means, if we put our trust in Him, and wait, He will make it beautiful…whatever the difficulty. It may not be in my lifetime, but He IS faithful. My card speaks of faith and trust.
