It Is Well
“It is well with my soul”….this has to be my favourite hymn. And the song I have added today is also one of my faves. So naturally I had to get this stamp set (Timeless Hymns) from @creativeworshipstamps just for this one stamp! Lol - Thankfully the set has many other wonderful stamps too. I also used Mindful Magnolias to create these pretty blossoms. The story behind the hymn (look it up for all the detail) is an amazing story of unimaginable loss, yet this man is able to praise the Lord despite his devastation. To look up and out of his circumstance and say IT IS WELL. That amazes me. Stories like this hit hard. Everytime. I long to respond that way, yet truthfully, praise is NOT my first response in undesirable circumstance. Praise the Lord for His grace.
