Summerween Pop Up Box Card
I made with this fun pop up box card featuring two cuties from the Summerween Stamp Sets by Whimsy Stamps. They're having a lil' moonlight dip to avoid the sun! Which is just as well, because if you look under the front flap, their sunscreen fell in the ocean! Box cards are such a fun design, especially for kids! They love to see how they pop up and love exploring all the sides and facets of the design. The beautiful jellyfish paper is from the Under the Sea Slimline Paper Pack from Whimsy. The paper I've used for the base panels is from that same paper pack and I had fun depicting some different underwater scenes for this make. I've added some acetate strips which pop out at an angle on either side of the box, because our ghouls needed their nocturnal friends out with them for their moonlight dip. I diecut some bats from the Haunted Graveyard Border Die Set. Enough to scatter a few on each acetate strip and one for the moon in the back. I took a moonlight scene from the Lost in Space Slimline Paper Pack. I hid the more alien element of this page further down in the design, where it wouldn't be obvious, letting the moon be the feature for this moonlight swimming duo. I used the palm tree stamp from the Summerween Scream Clear Stamp Set and added this over the moon as a silhouette. I added a little diecut bat too, to finish that panel.
